We are looking for responsible and motivated individuals to fill Client Care Representative positions at our downtown Vancouver office. We are small, independent company providing funeral and cremation services for local, national & international families. Voted Best of Vancouver, Best of the City for many years (including winner of Stars of Vancouver 2020 and Consumer Choice Awards 2020), we are now seeking front-line care representatives who look to learn and grow with us.
Duties
This position's primary role is to answer inquiries about our products and services and provide client care and daily administrative support to general office administration . The duties include:
- Politely and effectively answer incoming calls and customer inquiries regarding our products and services. Serve as an advisor (not a sales person) in providing public with information to make decision on services.
- Place outbound calls to clients, vendors, hospitals, agencies and other institutions. Proactively follow-up on cases and assignments as needed.
- Interact with clients and team leaders to schedule appointments and returns. Assist management with internal schedule of activities.
- Virtually prepare official documents, email and correspondence in professional and efficient manners.
- Perform various data entry and record keeping in Excel, Google Sheets and other databases.
- Other duties that may be assigned to.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Fluency in English (both verbal & written communication) is absolutely required. Must be fully capable and comfortable speaking with clients for longer conversations and explain clearly features of our products and services.
- Excellent phone and customer service skills (proven experience).
- Proficiency in Word, (basic) Excel/Google Sheets and current computer skills.
- Punctual, highly dependable, self-motivated.
- Highly organized, detail oriented and able to work independently.
- Respectful and discreet in handling confidential and sensitive information on daily basis.
- Polite, courteous and sympathetic (you are mostly helping families who suffer loss and at one of their most difficult and vulnerable times).
- A 'Can Do' positive attitude and willingness to help other team members.
Schedule & Other Requirements
- Ideal candidates are those who can commit to 6-8 hours/day shift, 3-5 days/week.
- Must be able to work 2 (two) days of on-call weekend shift (Saturday OR Sunday) each month.
- Must have own up-to-date computer and stable high-speed internet (5 - 10 Mbps) to support VOIP phone.
- Strong preference is given to those with proven records of phone handling/customer relations experience and are seeking long-term, permanent employment.

- Compensation: Target competency rate of $17.50 - $19.50 per hour (based on proven skills and competencies).
