Our client, a leader in the telecommunications industry, currently requires a senior J2EE developer to join their team.
Our client is looking for a strong J2EE developer capable of delivering full lifecycle development on a complex database application for Telecom usage collection applications. This role will be to assist in the design of the application and then be involved in developing the solution
.Technical Requirements: 1. Experience using J2EE Java including core Java, EJB, UML, JSPs, Servlets, HTML, DHTML and XML programming tools.
2. Working experience with OOP/OOD and n-tier application development
3. Working experience with STRUTS presentation layer framework
4. Working experience with the following tools: Oracle 8i and 9i, Oracle iAS 9i including PL/SQL, UNIX AIX, JDBC, JavaDoc, JNDI and J2EE design patterns
5. Working experience in a configuration management environment, for example CVS.
This is a 6 month contract to start with the possibility of extension up to 24 months. This position will be based in Edmonton, AB.
